My vision for The Joy Garden started in the spring of 1996. I wanted to create a special place where people could come and visit and find Joy in just being. I wanted to bring Joy to others as they celebrate life and the special moments each of us needs to honour and embrace in our daily journey of life. The garden represents the beauty of God's creation and the spiritual oneness of all life. Taking tea warms my heart and speaks to my soul. It provides the opportunity to open yourself up to share love with others. Healing starts with hope and brings forth Joy. I invite you to come and enjoy Tea in the Conservatory overlooking the garden and fountain or retreat and meditate in the prayer garden.
Here we are, celebrating our tenth year anniversary of serving tea and hopefully touching peoples’ lives. We have had the privilege to offer our guests the opportunity to celebrate the special moments in their lives. We have many wonderful memories of the people coming to our garden. We have hosted many bridal events, several weddings; many birthday celebrations, and of course Mother’s Day gatherings. There are friends who have gathered together to catch up on their lives and we say thank you to everyone who have blessed our ministry and us as we have served you. We look forward to another year with more wonderful JOYful memories.
